2021 Specialty Coffee Expo Coffee Design Awards Submissions
With this design, we wrote a love letter to the natural world using whimsical design and recyclable materials.
The goal was to make Uncommon Coffee “home” for all comers. Thus the couches, upholstered furniture, books and more books, plants to elicit a healing vibe, and a custom-tiled entrance using old-world tile with the logo “UN” embedded within for a feeling of permanence.
Being the first of its kind specialty roasters in Pakistan we wanted our packaging to be a statement, an experience, a sense of pride and above all world-class.
We wanted to capture the life inspiring feel and look of Bend Oregon, home of Tower Roasting CO and Majestic Blends.
The design came from the conjunction of our brand name and the coffee it sources.
Tower Roasting Co chose as part of its vision and mission to greatly advance the quality and perception of the K Cup world within the specialty coffee industry.
The intent was to convey the complexity of flavors that are brought out of the coffee bean through our traditional Ethiopian roasting process, a vibrant, nuanced and surprisingly delicious cup of coffee.
Cool Coffee Clique’s brand aesthetic is designed to speak to the serious coffee drinker that appreciates a premium coffee drinking experience.
The design reflects the prohibition and post prohibition era. The overall design represents a newspaper article with a hand sketched drawing and newsprint faded into the background.
