Coffee Foundation design aims to embody the philosophy of the "TAKE FIVE" initiative, which seeks to make vital conversations about mental health accessible and normalized for everyone. Our goal is to encourage individuals to take just a few moments to check in with their community—“your village”—offering genuine support through the superpower of active listening. This approach transforms everyday interactions into opportunities for meaningful dialogue, helping to normalize discussions about mental well-being and potentially preventing minor issues from escalating into larger problems. The campaign's slogan, "Call Us Crazy," reclaims the term "crazy" as a symbol of empowerment, breaking the chains of silence surrounding mental health. The design uses coffee as a playful Trojan horse to initiate critical conversations in a comfortable environment. Visually, we incorporate warm, inviting colors associated with coffee to create an approachable atmosphere. Typography is selected to foster a friendly and accessible vibe, emphasizing that you don't need to be an expert to engage in these important discussions. By celebrating the act of conversation itself, the design reflects our commitment to encouraging open, non-judgmental exchanges about mental health, including everyday challenges. Ultimately, the Coffee Foundation design aspires to normalize these interactions and highlight that a simple conversation could make a difference—perhaps even save a life.
