What Did You Want to Achieve with the Design? With the Nooz design, we aimed to create a bold, expressive, and minimal identity that stands out on shelves while maintaining a premium, modern, and sustainable feel. The goal was to: Emphasize Transparency – Featuring our coffee farm on the label allows consumers to track their coffee’s origin, reinforcing ethical sourcing and authenticity. Differentiate from Competitors – Many RTD coffee brands rely on cluttered packaging and heavy branding. Nooz takes a clean, confident approach that feels premium yet approachable. Convey Sustainability – The recyclable aluminum can and minimalist ink usage reflect our commitment to eco-friendly packaging. Align with Functional Beverage Trends – Nooz is not just another cold brew—it’s a functional, better-for-you coffee, and the design reflects its modern, health-conscious positioning. Were There Any Specific References That Informed the Design? Yes, the design was inspired by: Scandinavian Minimalism – Clean lines, bold typography, and a focus on simplicity over excess inspired Nooz’s aesthetic. Luxury & Boutique Coffee Brands – Specialty coffee brands that use understated yet impactful branding influenced our approach. Sustainable Packaging Trends – The rise of eco-conscious, low-ink, recyclable packaging played a role in our material and design choices. Tech & Direct-to-Consumer Brands – Modern brands that embrace clean, bold, and confident branding influenced our decision to strip away unnecessary elements and focus on what matters most.
