At Cafeistas Roastery, our packaging renewal began with a clear goal: to create a solution that is both visually appealing and fully environmentally friendly. The Cafeistas brand was created as a universal name of people living from, dealing with, and loving coffee in an endless journey to the growing countries. We materialize the visual and emotional connection between the journey and the vehicle that will take us there by choosing the classic motorcycle oil can to be our 250g packaging, which is a recognizable retro item with a strong aesthetic identity. Referring to a major metaphor: just as motor oils improve engine performance, coffee enhances the performance and energy of people! And our “oils” are fruity, full of flavors! The tin can is made of tinplate, it is easy to open and reseal, and features a one-way valve at the bottom that ensures freshness and preserves quality. The label design focuses on the country of origin, featuring a tree/plant which is directly inspired by the local flora of the region. Color choices come from the most highlighted characteristics of the flavor, leading to a subconscious "synesthesia." At the same time, the variation of shades emphasizes uniqueness, reinforcing the fact that each coffee has its own distinct character. Inspired by modern trends, we continuously provide a wide range of single-origin, microlots, and organic coffees, in our new can that is recyclable and also reusable. Following consumption, we encourage people to keep and repurpose the container, thus extending its value. With this in mind, the motto “your coffee can make a difference” was born, fostering a more meaningful relationship between the product and the people who enjoy it. This design introduces something innovative to the Greek market, and our goal is to continuously improve in more and more areas, through the ongoing search for cutting-edge solutions and investing in practices that contribute to a more sustainable future.
