Balzac's Coffee Roasters
Balzac’s Coffee Roasters was inspired by the Grand Cafés of Paris. Born in Ontario, Balzac’s is a Canadian specialty coffee roaster that operates 16 distinct café locations. Each serves as a hubs for community and connection. With a mission to create moments to savour, Balzac’s has expanded beyond its café roots to serve customers at-home. When approaching the brand packaging refresh, Balzac’s took inspiration from its own cafés and aimed to reflect elements that can be found within its own four walls, on-pack. This process resulted in artwork that celebrates Balzac’s iconic tile pattern which graces the café floors throughout Southwestern Ontario. Colour is used to denote blends and other elements represent our values, namely our commitment to sustainability. This contemporary design is an homage to Balzac’s 30 years of roasting experience and dedication to the craft of specialty coffee.
