VERO CAFE
With this design, we aimed to create a coffee packaging experience that would surprise, inspire, and emotionally connect with our customers throughout different seasons. We wanted the packaging to feel like a gift in itself - something that evokes joy and wonder even before the coffee is brewed. We partnered with Algimantas Kriščiūnas, a renowned Lithuanian artist whose distinctive style blends surrealism, symbolism, and storytelling. Each illustration was created exclusively for VERO CAFE and reflects a unique emotional narrative - subtly inspired by the origin of the coffee inside. The snowy fox landscape evokes the calm and clarity of Colombian highlands, the cosmic scene mirrors the adventurous spirit of Brazil’s Mogiana region, and the flamingos in the clouds nod to the floral lightness of Ethiopian Sidamo. These artworks are used only for these packages, making each bag a true limited-edition collectible. Inside, each coffee is a specialty-grade Arabica with a cupping score of 84+, selected directly from trusted farms in Colombia, Brazil, Honduras, and Ethiopia. Even our blends are crafted with traceable, high-quality beans and roasted in Lithuania to highlight each origin’s unique character - from nutty and chocolatey to fruity and floral. The packaging design references magical realism and cinematic storytelling while also prioritizing sustainability - made from 100% recycled plastic with a transparent bottom to showcase the beans. Our goal was to turn a daily coffee ritual into a premium, emotional, and artful experience - where what’s outside the bag is just as meaningful as what’s inside.
