Seattle, Washington | Designed by Artisan’s Group + SkB Architects Positioned inside the revitalized Cedar Hall atrium of the U.S. Bank Center, Olympia Coffee’s newest location in Downtown Seattle brings thoughtful hospitality to the architectural forefront. Framed by arched windows, tiled walls, and plush seating, the cafe sits within a luminous lobby space designed for both movement and pause, complete with convertible doors that blur the line between indoor and out. A dual-sided bar with Modbar under-counter machines creates a “super barista” layout that streamlines service and encourages connection. Material contrasts such as concrete, pale woods, and custom steel layer warmth onto industrial restraint, while a retro-inspired, custom-crafted sign echoes the brand’s vintage-modern roots. The design has become something of a social media darling, drawing weekend crowds who come for the coffee and stay for the vibe. Staff have seamlessly adapted to this rhythm, welcoming the energy with grace. As a certified B Corporation, Olympia Coffee’s values show up in every detail, from the minimized equipment footprint and sustainable material choices to its integration within the LEED Gold-certified building, where guests enjoy amenities like EV charging, on-site composting, and a rooftop apiary.
