Stinky's Coffee Co. is a self-taught, one-person roastery built from scratch in upstate New York, on the edge of the Adirondack Mountains. The packaging was designed to carry that spirit of place and wildness.
The system pairs a single matte black stand-up bag with individual illustrated labels, each featuring a nocturnal Adirondack creature matched to its coffee: a squirrel for the light roast, an owl for the espresso, a possum for the dark blend.
Blends get richly painted character labels, single origins get clean geographic badges, and a shared side panel campfire scene that ties the whole range into one cohesive world.
It's packaging that's proudly local, visually distinct, and grounded in a genuine commitment to the wildlife and communities of Upstate New York.
Sustainability is built into the bag but has a wider definition... The back panel carries a 'Things We Love' section naming the farmers, artists, environment, and communities
Stinky's is committed to highlighting four explicit pillars: Responsible Coffee Sourcing, Collaborations with Artists, Sustainable Packaging, and Supporting Wildlife and Environmental Conservation.
The bottom panel carries an LDPE recycling mark with a 'Please Recycle' directive — an honest call to action, not a greenwashing claim.
