Thinking Out of the Box: Strengthening Brand Message Through Imagery
Slow Pour Supply launched in 2018 as a supplier of milk pitchers and has since expanded as one of the leading distributors of coffee supplies in the United States with multiple brands under its belt.
In the summer of 2020, Slow Pour Supply decided to give its existing platform a new image as its product portfolio grew. The goal was to create a platform that was both accessible to all and to offer a fresh, positive and cohesive image across the brands.

Introducing MINIMONS To create a lively new look, Slow Pour partnered with Eugenia Tai, the creative brain behind Pair Cupworks. Tai designed five non-gendered characters who personify the thrill, anticipation, and sometimes the anxiety of pouring and serving coffee. Collectively, her unique characters unify the different products into one cohesive brand that conveys a warm, welcoming message to users of all backgrounds and orientations.
Slow Pour Supply chose five of its popular items - two Welhome Pro pitchers, an Origami dripper, a Timemore French press, and a Timemore kettle - and asked Tai to draw upon her experience of the coffee world to create these appealing characters.
Both whimsical and fun, the MINIMONS capture the experiences and emotions of baristas and home brewers as they ply their trade. At their core, they are meant to bring joy and lightness to the often serious world of coffee and offer a warm reminder that everyone is welcome.
