As the 5th wave of coffee arrives, the coffee industry needs to be the one to tell the stories, one that the customers can immerse themselves in. Every aspect – tastes, smells, sounds, visuals – contributes to the inspiration and aesthetic, not just to wake up. There is a lot that went into a cup. At first glance, you will be struck by the curves of the building shell, which is inspired by the curve of the roasting profile graph that links to the taste and aroma of the coffee. However, if only a graph is placed there, it will not do any good for the dimension and that is where the ‘Parametric’ concept comes into play. Lighting is added during the night to enhance the movement. The color of the light that changes signifies the change of color and flavor of coffee beans during the roast. The light shines onto the building shell, which has different depths in different parts, making it mesmerising even when the café is closed and it also lights up Chang Moi Street during the night.
