Coffee capsules are a very popular product, but few are made from sustainable materials. One key disadvantage of standard coffee capsules is the non-environmentally friendly composition of their materials. Most are made from aluminium or plastic, or in some cases both. Aluminium in particular is well-known for the high energy and raw material volumes required for its manufacture, and plastic too is made from ecologically problematic raw materials.

Enjoying products with a clean conscience is more important to customers now than ever. Nahrin coffee capsules are designed to cater to this demand. The 100% biodegradable coffee capsules are based on natural raw materials.

Why choose Nahrin coffee capsules? They are: • 0% aluminium / 0% plastic • Capsules are made from natural and renewable resources • Capsules are certified 100% biodegradable • Coffee is UTZ/Rainforest Alliance-certified, organic • Packaging material is FSC-certified • Nespresso-compatible • Attractive price (below market leader)

The capsules stand out from competitors in the coffee market with their matte, natural-looking pastel colours (biodegradable ink) and the biodegradable symbol.

The design of the FSC-certified packaging aligns with the sustainable aesthetic. The biodegradable symbol and various certifications are printed on every pack. Each pack features a QR code linking to further information.

Nahrin coffee capsules give customers the chance to do their part to create a more sustainable world, without having to give up their beloved coffee. Nahrin’s early entry to the market with biodegradable coffee capsules challenges both waste disposal companies (large-scale composting) and competitors to focus more heavily on the concept of sustainability.
