Idyllwild Coffee Roasters
This little box was made to be sold as a unit in grocery stores or in fine coffee houses. Inside the box are 10 pouches of roasted and ground Colombian coffee that when opened, become single serve pour-overs. They are popular with campers and hikers, vacation rentals and individuals who want a single fresh cup of coffee. In the design, we wanted to honor the country of origin.
We searched the archives for colorful and indicative stamps that showed the best Colombia was known for. We loved the colors of this bird and the plant, though not a coffee plant, but one that is indigenous to Colombia. We chose a black background to compliment the bright colors of the stamp. The box is constructed so that it can be sold as a unit or the single serve pour-overs can be sold individually. The box works great on the shelf of a grocery store or on the consumer's kitchen counter.
