We wanted the visual language of the packaging to feel dreamlike and atmospheric.

To achieve this effect, the photographer applied a thin layer of vaseline directly onto the camera lens while shooting the still life. This technique softens highlights and diffuses the image naturally, creating a hazy, almost nostalgic glow. Importantly, this effect was achieved in-camera rather than through post-production editing.

At Mind Coffee, one of our guiding principles is encouraging people to live more fully in the present moment. For that reason, we try to approach creative work with a similar philosophy: creating visuals that exist authentically in real time rather than relying heavily on digital manipulation.

Each image produced through this process becomes inherently unique. The lighting, the softness of the lens treatment, and the arrangement of the objects all exist as a captured moment rather than a constructed one.

Sustainability was an important consideration in the material choice.

The rice paper bag is sourced from renewable materials such as Qintan tree bark and bamboo, making it a more environmentally conscious alternative to many conventional coffee packaging materials.

Rice paper offers a distinctive tactile quality while maintaining a lower environmental impact compared to heavily laminated plastics commonly used in the industry.
