Metric Coffee Cold Brew
What did you want to achieve with the design?
We made a conscious decision to steer clear of using white text on amber bottles. Our cold brew stands out, and stays cold, in standard aluminum cans. The label uses the same haptic varnish as our coffee bags, creating a memorable experience. Lastly, not many beverage drinks use full-color photography on their packaging, which helps Metric Cold Brew stand out on the shelf.

Were there any specific references that informed the design?
For our first cold brew release, we feature a photograph by Ryan Lowry. The photo conveys a rush of movement from a driver’s perspective, and the photo colors contrast nicely with the brand palette. In the future, we’d like to highlight more photographers with different cold brew variants.
