Our design for Flor do Brasil seeks to bring out the Brazilian romantic side of the coffee and to embrace the vivid energy of the land. We wanted to create a sensory journey for the consumer, where our visuals serve as a physical gateway to Brazil.
Our goal was to capture the inherent duality of coffee: the disciplined craft of the farmer and the wild, untamed beauty of the environment where the bean is born, in every aspect of our brand voice.
The design is deeply inspired by vintage botanical art, which treats nature with a sense of wonder and scientific respect. These references inspired our hand-painted illustrations, ensuring the flora and the toucan feel like living characters in our story rather than simple decorations which can be found on all of our elements for our audience to discover as they get to know the brand.
Sustainability is embedded in our visual DNA as well as behind the scenes when we source the coffee and work with the various farms.
The toucan serves as a biological indicator of the healthy, biodiverse environments where our partner farms thrive which is why Flor do Brasil ensures these farms get the attention they deserve. Each farm gets its own label design where QR codes on back labels take the consumer directly to a page on our website where all the farm information is found.
We are also proud to be transparent with practices and have rainforest alliance partners. Furthermore, our accessories are made of 100% cotton, to reduce waste and encourage reusability. We aim to steadily improve the awareness and raise the social impact in our community.
