With the design of Coffee Labs in Eastchester, our primary goal was to create a space that seamlessly integrated natural and modern elements, reflecting the personalities of owners Mike and Alivia Love while embodying our unwavering commitment to sustainability. We aimed to provide a unique and memorable experience for customers, fostering a sense of community and belonging. The design draws inspiration from multiple references. Our collaboration with overseas coffee farmers is reflected in the herringbone pattern on the ceiling, crafted from reclaimed coffee tree wood. This not only symbolizes the global reach of Coffee Labs but also reinforces our dedication to sustainable practices. The natural wood beams salvaged from the original bank maintain a historical connection, adding depth to the design. The color palette, inspired by a beloved Science Fiction series, adds a personal touch and a touch of whimsy to the space, aligning with the owners' passion for the franchise. Furthermore, the innovative repurposing of the original bank vault into a unique bathroom space serves as a creative expression of our commitment to sustainability. Adorned with artwork, this transformation adds character and enhances the overall aesthetic, contributing to an immersive and aesthetically pleasing coffee experience. Ultimately, the design seeks to achieve a harmonious balance between natural authenticity, modern functionality, and a sustainable ethos, creating a welcoming environment that resonates with our customers..
