We are part of BANEXPORT S.A, a company with 17 years of experience in the specialty coffee market in Colombia. BANEXPORT obtains and develops different types of coffee profiles to export these flavors to different countries world wide and works hand to hand with excellent and innovative producers to offer the world the best cups of our country. CAFÉ 18 is the brand trough which the company wants to offer that knowledge and excellent cups of coffee in the Colombian market. We commercialize our own roasted coffee nationwide and offer experiences through coffee in our Coffee Shops in the city of Bogotá.

With this CAFÉ 18 coffee shop we wanted to create a warm, contemporary, colorful place inspired on the Colombian coffee culture and tradition but with a modern touch. Being located in a city like Bogota, with a speedy rhythm of life, we wanted to offer a space that combine color harmony, geometric figures and ecologic materials in order to offer our costumers a warm and cozy place to stop by and drink an excellent cup of coffee. We have a very wide variety of coffees that we offer in our shop in different preparations. We are eager to explain and give our customers all the details of our coffees traceability and guide them to find the perfect cup for them. This experience combined with the contemporary and warm space that we designed has great impact on the costumer experience. We based our design in the use of textures, materials and colors that look back to Colombian diversity and coffee culture. The entrance floor evokes the traditional floor of the Colombian coffee farms. The colors that we chose are to honor the essence of the Colombian coffee industry, their landscape and the coffee tree colors. We made two hand made murals based on our brand design with the purpose of bringing color to our coffee shop and to integrate parts of a coffee countryside to the design. To support the concept of the coffee tradition, we used natural materials like rattan and pine wood and handmade elements like the chairs and lamps. We hope to be a place of gathering in which passion for coffee brings people together, a place where people can appreciate the great results of the hard work of Colombian coffee producers, and in their own country!
