The design features unique hand drawn doodles that reflect the inspiration for each of our flagship blends. For Morning Formation, we chose elements that reflect the start of the day for many people (newspaper, reading glasses, toaster). Black Knight pays homage to my husband’s alma mater while also communicating the rich, dark roast of the blend through medieval and astrological doodles.
Our Powder Keg Espresso has cartoon-like sketches of TNT and dynamite alongside espresso making tools and brewing methods. For our single origin coffees, we have two additional bag designs with a blank spot to apply a label for our changing seasonal offerings. The yellow bag features sketches of different brewing methods and the white bag includes outlines of the different countries we source from and drawings of the coffee plant to give credit to the origin of the beans. The warm earth tones and playful imagery help to illustrate the style of our blends and tell a story from front to back.
