Roam Bravely’s goal is to connect coffee drinkers with coffee producers; to make it easier to find and purchase coffees from smallholder producers with regenerative growing practices. Producers whose meticulous methods create elevated flavors and experiences.

The company’s foundation is built on sharing the risks and benefits of coffee production; a belief that the interests of profit and people coexist. Through design, this is achieved by offering coffee in packaging that prominently displays the names of producers, and includes informational cards with each new roast as a part of a rotating subscription package.

When re-branding and re-creating these essential assets, the unique styles and inspirations of Roam Bravely owners Nicole and Kevin were paramount. Their journey began with an overland coffee and surf trip to El Salvador with Siberian huskies, Zoe and Tiberius. They braved the unknown in search of meaningful producer relationships. The rich stories of this origin trip, the bright colors of Mexico and Central America, and the unique surf style of local beach towns served to inspire the final brand mark.

The husky featured in the logo and emblem serves as a one-of-a-kind mascot that promotes wild adventure and connects the custom typography with the brand’s story. The bright color palette utilized in packaging and logos creates a connection with Latin America and works to distinguish each producer’s packaging.
