Our goal with this design was to create packaging that not only stands out but tells a story. We wanted it to reflect the richness of the coffee inside while highlighting the ecosystems that make exceptional coffee possible. The artwork, created by illustrator Teagan White, brings this vision to life with intricate botanical elements, coffee blossoms, cherries, butterflies, and hummingbirds commonly found on coffee farms. These details aren’t just decorative; they represent the biodiversity that thrives when coffee is grown with care for the environment.
We took inspiration from the vibrant, untamed beauty of coffee farms, especially those where farmers are pushing boundaries with experimental processing and innovative growing practices. The Elysian Origins series is all about discovery and features coffees that challenge expectations and create an experience for the drinker. The white background gives a refined, modern feel, allowing the artwork to shine, while the soft texture of the LDPE bag makes it as enjoyable to hold as it is to look at. Beyond aesthetics, our design choices were intentional in reinforcing our mission. Coffee is more than a commodity. It is a deeply personal, sensory experience that connects people across the world. We wanted a bag that reflects that connection, sparking curiosity and appreciation from the moment it is picked up.
