This PERC Virginia Highland space was refreshed in early 2026 with vibrant new paint, brighter lighting, and expanded seating to welcome even more people for good times and awesome coffee in the historic Atlanta neighborhood. The façade greets guests with a large, colorful bias pattern and a freshly painted PERC logo above the extended patio seating area. Inside, the space opens into a bright pink, yellow, and mint green color scheme that brings energy and warmth to the room. To the left, a large menu helps guide guests along their coffee journey alongside displays of seasonal and flagship merch, while to the right a comfortable seating area invites people to relax and hang, anchored by our signature backlit lightning bolt bar.
We wanted to create a space that felt inviting and approachable to everyone, from the craft coffee curious to the seasoned enthusiast, as well as the casual daily drinker. The design reflects PERC’s playful and energetic brand, using bold color, clear layout, and welcoming seating to make the experience feel easy and fun rather than intimidating. By combining bright visual elements with comfortable gathering spaces, the shop encourages people to explore coffee, spend time with friends, and feel like part of the neighborhood.
The PERC Virginia Highland space was refreshed primarily using existing architectural features, focusing on reinvigorating the shop with updated equipment, furniture, lighting, and paint rather than undertaking a full rebuild. By working within the existing footprint and structure, the renovation minimized material waste while extending the life of the space and its core elements. This approach allowed us to create a fresh, vibrant environment while being thoughtful about resources and reducing the need for unnecessary new construction.
