At Paper Frog Coffee, art is central to our design philosophy. We draw inspiration from origami—the art of paper folding—to symbolize the transformation of simple materials into intricate forms. Just as origami folds a plain sheet of paper into complex shapes, we believe that coffee—a simple bean—can be processed, roasted, and brewed to reveal rich, complex flavors that tell a unique story. This metaphor guides our approach to both our coffee and our packaging, reflecting our commitment to craftsmanship and creativity. We believe exploring coffee should be fun, and we wanted our packaging to reflect that.

Each of our coffees is unique and deserving of its own distinct look and feel. While the bags have a consistent design structure that ties our collections together, each features its own characters, colors, and personalities to best express the coffee inside. Our packaging is a canvas for storytelling—each coffee is represented by its own unique character, brought to life through original artwork. These characters create a world where our coffees take on personalities of their own, turning every bag into an evolving story, with each new coffee acting as a chapter in the experience.

Our flat-bottom bags and paper tubes provide sturdy frames that ensure stability, while allowing for full-panel custom artwork. These expanded surfaces give us a large canvas to showcase our unique and playful designs, making every coffee feel like stepping into the Paper Frog world. We love bright, colorful designs that aren’t afraid to be a little maximalist—not only do we want our bags to pop on retail shelves and online, but we also want them to feel like an art piece on your coffee bar—something that sparks curiosity, joy, and connection.
