The design works with minimal and inexpensive materials--crucial to a young business. The ubiquity of a black, flat bottom pouch bag is made unique in shape and color by the sticker band that wraps from front to back, alternating the bag's common shape. In this way, the two, coordinating stickers become both functional and vibrant, allowing the user to focus on the hyper-regionality of the mask design on each sticker. The illustrations are inspired by the people and the regions where the coffees are harvested and processed, as well as the tasting notes and roast profiles of the beans.

Research is done both in person and via published texts and documentaries, to find regional masks, garb, and other details that each design signifies. The use of masks in our designs also alludes to the "Sin Nombre" part of our company's name-- the masks suggest intrigue, the unknown, and playfulness. Many of these masks have been used in indigenous and native regional cultures, and represent aspects of long-standing traditions of those places. We are inspired by the rich culture and endless wonder of Mexico, and are proud to explore the regional differences that make up each of our products.
