The design of our Kafiex Roasters retail coffee bags was created to guide consumers through our diverse offerings in a clear, approachable way. We categorized our coffees into four groups Traditional, Modern, Reserve, and Celebrate each associated with a distinct color, allowing customers to quickly identify flavor profiles and explore our range with confidence. The tonal palette of four shades of blue builds on our original brand color, creating cohesion across the line while providing visual depth and shelf presence.

The bag form was chosen to perform effectively in retail and shelving environments while showcasing our Roaster of the Year seal as a celebration of craft and quality. A modern interpretation of the coffee branch was incorporated to connect consumers to the plant and the origins of the coffee, reinforcing the educational aspect of the design.

Sustainability was a key consideration. Our packaging participates in Savor Brands’ R+R® Program (Reprocess & Repurpose), which transforms used bags into building materials for homes and infrastructure. This gives the packaging a second life, keeps materials in circulation, and supports community development, reflecting our commitment to responsible and forward thinking design.

The result is packaging that is visually distinctive, educational, and socially conscious designed to inspire curiosity, celebrate coffee, and create a positive impact beyond the cup.

Through thoughtful use of space, educational design, and a strong connection to coffee’s origin, the packaging reflects our broader philosophy: sustainability is not only about materials, but also about respect, transparency, and valuing the journey of coffee from seed to cup.
