Our goal was to intentionally carve out a distinct, permanent program that visibly honors women across the coffee supply chain. Rather than integrating the initiative subtly or symbolically, the design was created to stand on its own—clearly signaling focus, investment, and long-term commitment to women in coffee.

The designs place origin and authorship at the center. Each SKU features a color palette selected by a Ferris Coffee-commissioned female artist who is native to the coffee’s origin, drawing directly from regional landscapes, cultural expression, and local context. This approach ensures the visual identity is not interpreted from the outside, but instead shaped by voices and perspectives rooted in the communities where the coffee is grown. Color becomes both a differentiator and a narrative device, reinforcing authenticity and respect for origin.

Material choice supports the philosophy behind the program. The packaging utilizes TricorBraun’s BioTre® material, a renewable, plant-based solution chosen to reduce reliance on fossil-fuel plastics while maintaining the barrier performance required to protect coffee freshness. This reflects a belief that sustainability should be practical, intentional, and aligned with long-term responsibility.
