City Girl Coffee is a growing company with a significant base of supporters nationally. When we launched our brand in 2015, we chose to separate ourselves from our competition by appealing to our target audience, women aged 24-35. Our goal was to be fun, enthusiastic, empowered, and memorable. Our branding consistently strives to communicate our core mission: bringing awareness, support, and equality to women of the coffee industry.

We seek to empower all women to be themselves, see themselves, and treat themselves to delicious specialty coffee. We use our social media platforms to communicate directly with our supporters, even so far as holding multiple contests where they can help name new limited-time-offer blends (as pictured below). We feature recipes on our social media pages, as well as on our website, inviting our supporters to experience our product in new and exciting ways. The image featuring the popsicle, was included with a recipe on how to make your own cold brew pops using City Girl Coffee.
We’ve also included a photo that showcases the women we partner with to source our coffee.
While women are often a majority of the workforce, they rarely have ownership or even decision-making power on a coffee farm. By sourcing coffee from women-owned and managed farms, we hope to bring attention to their strength, determination, and fortitude. By sending a portion of every sale to organizations that support our women partners, we also hope to give them access to resources that will grow their businesses as well as their communities.
