We wanted to create a product that was appealing and eye catching on the shelf. We also wanted the consumer to easily be able to identify the four unique flavors based on packaging colors and be able to imagine the type of espresso they would get from the color of the box. We also wanted to create this new line but still stay true to the Barrie House identity. We used certain elements like our logo, and the gold bar on the front of the box to match our newly rebranded products in our other coffee lines. We used the imagery of steam coming off the top of a hot cup of coffee or espresso as an element in the design. We also choose to match the capsule color to the packaging color in order to convey a cohesive communication of the characteristics of each espresso.
