The design aimed to revolutionize coffee packaging by merging functionality with thoughtful aesthetics, offering a distinctive alternative in form and material. Inspired by the traditional Colombian game El Parqués, the goal was to create a visually and tactilely engaging experience. The use of simulated leather, heat stamping, and opalescent coffee bags showcased innovation. Aesthetically, it transformed the predictable format into a hand-illustrated, collectable object, paying homage to tradition. Aligned with consumer preferences, the design sought to evoke tradition, and nostalgia, and foster family connections through an analogue gaming experience. The project successfully challenged norms, receiving positive market reception and positioning itself as a creative milestone. Sustainability was prioritized, with manufacturing powered by solar panels and a commitment to producing quality, durable packaging with multiple purposes. In summary, the design aimed to redefine coffee packaging, combining creativity, tradition, consumer engagement, and sustainability distinctively and memorably.
