We were inspired by the visits to our farmer-owners in Latin America and their input on the vision of what the brand means to them and their desire to preserve biodiversity and their environments in order to sustainably produce specialty organic coffee far into the future. Pachamama Coffee is a global cooperative wholly owned and governed by smallholder farmers in Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, and Ethiopia. Coffee farmers own this brand and they use it to tell their own story. We hope our success inspires more farmers to embrace the marketing and branding of their own specialty coffee.
