Legendary flavor — wherever you go. This was the inspiration for our both our product development and our design strategy. Prominently featuring our Black Cat espresso icon as a bold juxtaposition to the soft pastels, we aimed to communicate clearly that this is the ready-to-drink choice for enthusiasts who are unwilling to sacrifice flavor for convenience. The packaging exists as a full color story with nods to flavor. Simple and paired-back, allowing the brand’s legacy to speak for itself, alongside our commitment to bringing specialty espresso into more formats. For the design’s launch, we took inspiration in early 90’s print advertising and classic elements from that era’s product photography - where packaging was championed simply without added design complexity to distract from the hero.
