Hi New Beans!
The main goal of the design was to create a complete sensory experience around the coffee and present it through multiple creative perspectives. We wanted consumers not only to taste the coffee, but also to experience it visually, emotionally, and through sound.
The project was inspired by vinyl culture and the idea of slow, intentional consumption. To express the coffee’s flavor profile visually, we collaborated with Hungarian artist Aliz Vojnits, who created a painting based on the cupping notes. We also worked with local DJ Monkeyneck to develop a sonic experience after researching how sound can influence flavor perception. These elements were connected through the packaging design and the included color-wheel disc game.
By combining coffee, visual art, music, and fashion, we aimed to create a more immersive and memorable way of experiencing the coffee.
