The goal with this design was to create a packaging experience that reflects the values of quality, sustainability, and sophistication that define HERZ New York Coffee Roasters. We wanted the design to feel modern yet timeless, with clean lines, natural textures, and minimal text to let the product and materials speak for themselves. Inspiration came from nature itself—particularly the speckled texture of silverskin (a byproduct of coffee roasting), which we incorporated into the recycled paper for an organic, tactile feel that connects directly to the coffee’s origin.
