With our packaging design, we aimed to break away from the pervasive minimalism dominating the market, drawing instead upon the raw, vibrant essence of the 90 acres of untouched forest we are committed to protecting in Nicaragua. This verdant sanctuary, home to a myriad of wildlife, including the resonant howler monkeys, industrious bees, and the striking toucans (locally known as 'picudos'), served as our muse. We intended to capture the eye of the consumer with a design that is as bold and lively as the environment we cherish, reflecting the unparalleled quality of the coffee within. The vivid imagery and dynamic colors of our packaging are direct tributes to the forest's inhabitants, designed to convey the richness and depth of both our coffee and our conservation efforts. Through this design, we sought not only to stand out on the shelves but also to tell a story of ecological stewardship and the profound impact of preserving natural beauty. The essence of the Nicaraguan wilderness, with its complex biodiversity and raw, untouched landscapes, informed every aspect of our design philosophy, aiming to transport coffee lovers into the heart of the forest with every sip.
