Bean & Bean’s core values, grounded in ethical sourcing with the mission to bridge the gender gap in coffee, are reflected in the packaging design. Sloth mascot: Bean & Bean’s sloth mascot delivers the brand’s uniqueness and comforting nature, as well as remind us of the environment where our coffee comes from. The sloth mascot supports the brand concept of ethically sourced and intentionally curated coffee experience in a friendly environment. The mascot was developed to be easily morphed into different contexts. Wordmark logo: Bean & Bean’s wordmark logo conveys the brand’s commitment to fresh coffee roasting and delivering joy through coffee. Color: The purple brand color delivers the uniqueness of the brand’s identity including the one and only Mother Daughter Q Grader Team and the brand’s sloth mascot. Mother-daughter emblem: Rachel and Jiyoon from the Mother-Daughter Q Grader Team, source the majority of Bean & Bean’s coffees from farms and mills owned and operated by women. The emblem on the bag reminds the consumer of the female team behind the coffee, roasting locally in NYC.
